Are you passionate about quality, continuous improvement, and making a real impact in the environment we live in? We’re looking for an experienced Operations Quality Manager to lead our Greenspace operations in the Bay of Plenty.

As the Operations Quality Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in leading the delivery of high-quality Greenspace services. You’ll be responsible for ensuring our teams meet contract requirements efficiently and safely, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
This role is all about planning, delivering, checking, and improving, using your leadership and quality management expertise to drive performance, customer satisfaction, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Lead and mentor operational teams to achieve performance, safety, and quality targets.
- Manage resources (people, plant, materials, subcontractors) to optimise delivery.
- Oversee quality systems, audits, and job management tools (e.g. MS Dynamics).
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a One Downer approach.
- Drive Zero Harm culture and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Build strong client relationships and contribute to contract growth and success.

- Proven leadership experience in the Greenspace or related operational sectors.
- Strong planning, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for quality and safety.
- Experience with quality systems, audits, and job management tools.
- Ability to build a strong safety culture that encourages excellence and supports Zero Harm.
- Horticultural qualification (preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including Teams, SharePoint, Dynamics).
- Full Class 1 Driver’s Licence.
