What This Opportunity Involves:

As Assistant Property Manager – Retail, you'll work closely with our Retail Property Manager in a collaborative team environment, supporting the delivery of high-quality property management services for Richmond Traders. This hands-on role offers excellent exposure to all aspects of retail property management and significant career development opportunities.

This position is part-time, 3-days per week.

An Overview Of The Role:

  • Financial Management: Handle accounts payable/receivable functions, manage vendor and contractor queries, process utility accounts, and code invoices through our MRI system
  • Lease Administration: Monitor critical lease dates, conduct lease setups and audits, assist with rent reviews (fixed & CPI), manage tenant deposits, and issue purchase orders
  • Tenant Relations: Actively pursue tenant arrears, generate tax invoices and statements, conduct account reconciliations, and handle tenancy-related enquiries
  • Reporting & Analysis: Assist with monthly reporting, annual budgets, and outgoings reconciliations
  • Body Corporate Support: Prepare AGM documentation and minutes, manage committee meetings, process levies and budgets
  • General Administration: Maintain filing systems, coordinate sales and insurance reporting, and liaise with operations managers, contractors, and owners

Sound like you? This is what we’re looking for: 

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in retail property management with strong financial acumen
  • Current Real Estate Agent's Representative Licence
  • Thorough knowledge of property functions, including accrual accounting
  • Proven track record of delivering friendly, timely, and effective service to clients and tenants
  • Professional presentation and strong decision-making abilities within delegated authority
  • Excellent time management skills and flexibility to meet business and client needs
  • Strong communication skills and collaborative approach
