A passionate retail company specializing in popular collectibles and merchandise, operating both physical stores and innovative vending machine locations across Canada. They’re expanding their operations with creative retail channels and are looking for their first international team member to join their growing 12-person domestic team.
Job Description:
You’ll be the operational backbone of a thriving collectibles business, managing inventory across multiple locations while supporting financial operations. This role combines the analytical aspects of supply chain management with the precision of accounts payable, making it perfect for someone who enjoys variety and wants to make a direct impact on business growth. You’ll work directly with passionate business owners who love their products and are expanding through innovative retail channels.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage stock levels across multiple vending machine locations using spreadsheet systems
- Order new inventory from suppliers when stock reaches predetermined thresholds
- Coordinate stock replenishment to ensure products reach correct locations efficiently
- Handle accounts payable functions including supplier payments and invoice processing
- Perform light bookkeeping tasks related to inventory management and supplier relationships
- Manage e-commerce operations within the Shopify platform
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and financial transactions
- Support both physical retail and automated vending machine operations
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in e-commerce, retail operations, or supply chain management
- Proficiency with Shopify platform for inventory and e-commerce management
- Strong spreadsheet management and inventory tracking skills
- Basic bookkeeping and accounts payable knowledge
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable computer and internet connection for remote work
- Bonus if you have experience with QuickBooks or Xero
- It helps if you’re familiar with retail or collectibles industries
