InterContinental Dubai Marina is a Five Star luxury hotel & residence in the heart of Dubai Marina with 328 rooms and residence suites, flexible event space and restaurants & bars. With over 30 languages and countries represented by the staff, the hotel weaves together an international five-star presence.

Your role will include but not be limited to:
As the Sales Manager – Corporate & MICE, you will drive business development and account growth across the corporate, meetings, and events segments. You will combine a proactive “hunter” mindset with strong relationship management skills to deliver sustained revenue growth and maximize value from every account, including event and F&B contribution. You will identify new market opportunities, strengthen existing partnerships, and work closely with the Commercial team to position the hotel competitively within the corporate and MICE landscape. This role also contributes to the long-stay business by developing relocation and project-based corporate stays.
Business Development & Account Growth
- Proactively prospect and acquire new corporate and MICE accounts, targeting high-potential sectors and agencies.
- Develop strategic relationships with key decision-makers to generate consistent business and long-term partnerships.
- Respond to RFPs, conduct client visits, site inspections, and deliver persuasive proposals aligned with brand standards.
- Manage and grow existing corporate portfolios by increasing ADR, share of wallet, and overall contribution.
MICE & Event Opportunities
- Identify and convert meetings, conferences, and private events within corporate accounts.
- Promote the hotel’s restaurants and venues for business dinners, networking events, and social functions.
- Collaborate with F&B, Banqueting, and Events teams to ensure seamless delivery and maximize profitability.
Revenue & Commercial Alignment
- Work closely with Revenue and Marketing to design effective rate strategies and tactical offers.
- Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and rate positioning to recommend adjustments and maintain competitive advantage.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and report on key performance and opportunity updates.
Long Stay Segment Contribution
- Support the conversion of long-stay inquiries linked to your corporate accounts or project-based stays.
- Identify potential long-stay opportunities within existing corporate partnerships.
Collaboration & Communication
- Maintain accurate client information in CRM and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure client requirements are met with precision.
- Collaborate closely with other Sales and Events colleagues to share insights, referrals, and opportunities.
Ideally, you'll have some or all the following qualifications and experience we're looking for:
- At least 3-4 years of experience in the similar role within luxury hospitality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with both staff and management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional attention to details and customer handling abilities.
