Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Data Science Engineer (AI) to join our Data & AI team, driving the development of our Agentic Engine — a next-generation framework that powers Healthentia’s intelligent behavioral coaching and decision-support systems.

You will work at the intersection of AI engineering, data science, and software development, building scalable, production-ready AI solutions that integrate seamlessly into our cloud-based ecosystem.

From time to time, you may also contribute to European R&D projects, collaborating with academic and research partners across the EU — an excellent opportunity to explore cutting-edge AI research applied to healthcare.

Requirements

What You'Ll Do

• Design, develop, validate, deploy, and maintain AI, ML, and rule-based decision systems within the Agentic Engine.
• Build robust data pipelines and feature engineering workflows to transform healthcare data into actionable insights.
• Collaborate closely with product, research, and software engineering teams to align technical solutions with product goals.
• Ensure agentic AIOps MLOps best practices are applied for versioning, reproducibility, and monitoring of deployed models.
• Contribute to documentation, testing, and continuous improvement of the AI stack.

Qualifications & Skills

• 3+ years of hands-on experience developing and deploying end-to-end data science or AI systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL; solid understanding of statistics, data modeling, and machine learning fundamentals.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Proven experience using software engineering tools and workflows (Git, Docker, CI/CD, Azure or AWS).
• Strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Expertise with AI/ML frameworks
• Knowledge of MLOps practices
• Familiarity with API development (FastAPI, Flask) and microservice architectures.
