Program Coordinator, Pharmacy Compliance (Hybrid) - (25000AGN)
Description
A Brief OverviewCollaborates with pharmacy directors, managers, supervisors, clinical pharmacists, and pharmacists who are responsible and accountable for decisions affecting successful accreditation and compliance with enacted federal and state rules and regulations.
What You Will Do- Participates in the development of policies and procedures related to applicable pharmacy accreditation standards and compliance with federal and state rules and regulations.
- Oversees pharmacy compliance with all USP chapters and other applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
- Functions with a high degree of autonomy with all activities subject to quality of service measurements.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Complies with all policies and standards.
- For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation.
- Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
Qualifications
Education- Associate's Degree (Required)
- 3+ years Experience in healthcare (Required)
- Demonstrated relationship management expertise. (Required proficiency)
- Experienced with quality and safety projects.
- Strong PC skills including demonstrated expertise in MS Excel/PPT/Project Management software.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large projects ensuring program compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team environment working towards common goals with internal and external clients. Proven relationship management expertise.
- Demonstrated solid strategic thinking skills. The ability to problem solve and identify possible consequences of ideas, thoughts and actions. Ability to develop and execute a classroom curriculum.
- Demonstrated skills in written and oral communications at all organizational levels.
- Proven ability to manage complex personnel situations.
