Job Summary:

Sundt Building Group is expanding its presence in Texas and is seeking an experienced business development professional to help drive growth in the aviation, data center, and aerospace markets. This role is ideal for someone who fully understands the regional market and has a track record of building relationships that lead to strategic opportunities. The successful candidate will work closely with Sundt market sector champions and operations leaders to identify, pursue, and secure new business, while helping to shape pre-win strategies that position Sundt for long-term success.
 

Key Responsibilities:
1. Assissts in the development of pre-win strategies
2. Assists the Director of Development, Texas Building Group, with marketing activities.
3. Coordinates relationship managment meetings with key industry contacts and business partners.
4. Manages relationships in one or more of the following markets (aviation, data centers, or aerospace).
5. Participates in activities to support the company's strategic planning efforts
6. Assists with Request for Proposals and interview preparations.
7. Schedules and records debriefs on all proposed projects, awarded and non-awards.
8. Utilize the Company's business development support tools (e.g. project database, CD library, photo library, etc...) 
 

  • Minimum Job Requirements:
  • 1. 2+ years business development/marketing work in a construction related industry.
  • 2. 4+ years marketing experience.
  • 3. BS Degree required.
  • 4. Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs. 
  • 5. Ability to travel within geographic location as needed and required.

Physical Requirements:
1.    Will sit, stand or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift/work day.
2.    May stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis
3.    Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis
4.    Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures
5.    Will lift, push or pull objects pounds on an occasional basis
6.    Will interact with people and technology frequently during a shift/work day
7.    Will use telephone, computer system, email, and other electronic devices on a frequent basis to communicate with internal and external customers or vendors
