Works closely with all members of the team to provide direct patient care to optimize positive patient care outcomes. Works independently and assists the registered nurse/nurse practitioner during clinic visits by providing the appropriate procedures.

Required Qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training: For hires after 07/26/2023: Or 
  • Completion of a MA program (not required to maintain certification after hire), Or
  • Completion of first semester nursing program, Or
  • EMT program completion (not required to maintain certification after hire)
  • 1 year of acute patient care experience, Or
  • 6 months experience in a direct patient care environment in providing clerical support related to Provider or Patient documentation or charting.
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • Experience with basic data entry.
  • 6 months Phlebotomy skills. Must be proficient.
  • - Completion of a MA program (not required to maintain certification after hire), Or
  • - Completion of first semester nursing program, Or
  • - EMT program completion (not required to maintain certification after hire)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training: EKG Training.
