Camilo José Cela University is seeking to hire a Professor and Master's Thesis Supervisor.
MISSION: To tutor Master’s Final Projects (TFM) and contribute to the academic and teaching excellence of the Education Department by joining a dynamic and collaborative team.
Functions:
Supervise and tutor students in the development of their Master’s Theses (TFM).
Teach assigned classes within the Education Department.
Collaborate in academic coordination and continuous improvement of the program.
Participate in evaluation and support activities related to the TFM process.
Requirements:
Academic background: Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Education, Pedagogy, or related fields. Accreditation (ANECA or equivalent) and recognized research merits (sexenio) are desirable but not mandatory.
Professional experience: Demonstrated teaching experience at the higher education level. Prior involvement in Master’s Thesis supervision or educational research will be highly valued.
Languages: Excellent command of English (C2 level required). Knowledge of Spanish will be considered an asset.
IT skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and online learning platforms (e.g., Moodle, Teams, Blackboard, etc.).
Skills and competencies: Flexibility, teamwork, organizational skills, and a strong commitment to academic excellence and student mentorship.
Additional valued experience: Familiarity with the International Baccalaureate (IB) programs and educational frameworks is highly desirable.
Location: Almagro / Castellana / Online.
Planned incorporation date: During the academic year.
