About The Job
We are recruiting talented and experienced senior embedded software engineers to join the Software Platform Group in R&D to further develop Nordic Semiconductor’s Software Development Kits. The role can be tailored depending on your skills and experience.
You will be working on our nRF Connect SDK, which is built around the Zephyr open-source RTOS. Most of this software is publicly available on GitHub and you will take part in open-source software development with partners world-wide. You will work in a smaller scrum team, as a part of a large group of experienced and competent embedded SW engineers. We strive every day to improve our ways of working and exchange best practices.
We are looking for embedded software engineers for our team in Kraków. This offer is for an experienced engineer and a good team player, who will develop software powering our world leading ultra-low power chips. Together with a group of talented people, you will be working on reference designs, applications and samples integrating a wide set of functionalities offered by Nordic’s nRF Connect SDK. Your code has a chance to be used by millions of people globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Development of applications based on Nordic Semiconductor technologies
- Creating examples presenting our products’ functionality and performance
- Ensuring high code quality by providing tests and documentation of developed code
- Provide support to Nordic’s Technical Support and Field Application Engineers
Qualification And Skills
- B. Sc. or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar
- At least 10 years of experience in embedded software design, implementation and testing
- Very good knowledge of C
- Experience working with ARM CPUs
- Experience working with any RTOS or Linux kernel
Personal Skills
- Proficiency in problem solving and debugging
- Good co-operation skills
- Good written and spoken Polish and English communication skills
It is also beneficial if you have:
- Experience in system integration and configuration
- Experience in programming multi-core processors
- Experience in using microcontroller peripherals
- Experience working with CMake
- Experience in Python programming
- Experience working with FPGAs and debugging or tracing equipment
- Leadership skills
