About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and knowledgeable HR Generalist to join our team in Italy. This role will be key in ensuring compliance with Italy labor laws, fostering positive employee relations, and supporting various HR functions including recruitment and employee engagement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure full compliance with Italy labor laws and regulations; keep the organization updated on legislative changes.
- Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR-related policies, practices, and labor law matters.
- Manage and resolve employee relations issues with a balanced and solution-oriented approach.
- Support the end-to-end recruitment process: job posting, interviewing, coordination with hiring managers, and onboarding.
- Contribute to employee engagement initiatives and wellness programs to promote a positive workplace culture.
- Manage and coordinate all work permit and visa matters for local and expatriate employees, ensuring full compliance with Italian immigration laws.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation in accordance with legal requirements.
- Support HR projects, audits, and process improvement initiatives as needed.
- Collaborate with the regional/global HR team to ensure alignment with company-wide HR policies and programs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of HR generalist experience in Italy, with solid knowledge of local labor laws and HR practices.
- Strong experience in employee relations and HR compliance.
- Experience supporting recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in a multicultural and fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken).
- High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
