Market Operations Manager - Spain

The Role

We are looking for a Market Operations Manager Spain who will be part of building and running our market commercial operations. At Zeekr, we build strong relationships with our customers by offering outstanding service and guidance throughout the chain. This role will be hired on an initial 12-month fixed term contract.

This is what you will do:

• Lead the launch of the Spanish market end-to-end, taking responsibility for both operational execution and providing strategic inputs and direction.
• Drive setup and oversee the onboarding and operational setup of new distribution partners, including contract finalization, systems integration, and brand training.
• Develop the commercial strategy/business plan in line with company objectives, ensuring sustainable growth and brand recognition.
• Set and achieve specific commercial and financial targets for the Spanish market.
• Manage the relationship with our partners (importers/distributors) on a daily basis, creating a one-team attitude and high-performance culture.
• Analyze market trends, business performance and customer feedback against volume, profitability, and brand KPIs – and drive corrective actions together with the distribution partner if required.
• Interact with key HQ functions at Zeekr (e.g. Sales Operations, Network development, Marketing, After-Sales, Finance) to support our partners in achieving targeted business results.
• Represent the brand externally, building relationships with partners and stakeholders to strengthen our market presence.
• Report & present updates regularly to senior management on market progress, risks, and opportunities.

To be successful in the role you will demonstrate:

• Extensive automotive industry experience, ideally in an importer/distributor environment or OEM (managing distribution partners).
• Experience in market launches or international business development.
• Project management capability - comfortable leading multiple launches or market initiatives in parallel, with the ability to set strategic direction and get into the operational details.
• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills, both internally and externally.
• Cross-functional collaboration mindset to efficiently collaborate with a multitude of departments across Zeekr.
• Solution-oriented and analytical – with the ability to solve problems under pressure and manage ambiguity.
• Self-starter attitude with a hands-on, pragmatic approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Fluent in English; other languages are an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
