The Messaging & Real-Time Analytics (MRTA) organization sits at the heart of Azure Data, powering the platforms that turn events into intelligence through Fabric Real-Time Intelligence, Graph, Maps, and Digital Twin Builder.
As part of the MRTA Executive Office and reporting directly to the Chief of Staff, this role drives the communication and operational rhythm of the business (ROB) that keeps the organization aligned, informed, and moving at pace. You’ll partner closely with the Chief of Staff to continually evolve the CVP’s internal and external communication strategies, strengthen organizational clarity, and ensure seamless execution across MRTA’s ROB.
You’ll help shape how MRTA shows up — on LinkedIn, at global conferences, and across internal channels — while building the structure and cadence that connect strategy to execution. The ideal candidate brings kindness, positive energy, creativity, organization, and influence — someone equally comfortable contributing to a keynote narrative, simplifying a process, or driving accountability through disciplined action tracking. You’ll combine communications expertise with operational excellence, translating leadership vision into clarity, consistency, and momentum across a large global organization.

Responsibilities
Communications
- Partners with the Chief of Staff to evolve our external executive communications strategy for MRTA’s CVP (LinkedIn, 1p/3p Conferences, strategic speaking engagements, etc).
- Develops internal communication strategy in partnership with the Chief of Staff for the MRTA organization – ownership of internal communications channels (SharePoint, Teams) ensuring MRTA employees have straight-forward and organized hubs to get information, resources, or help they need.
- Drafts and produces communications materials (e.g., briefing documents, talk tracks, video scripts, PowerPoint slides). Ensures the use of current and relevant templates and materials. Builds on effectiveness of previously used materials.
- Leads project management and cadence of communications projects, programs, events, and/or editorial calendar.
- Tracks impact and perception, using feedback loops and metrics to refine messaging and influence narrative direction.
Rhythm of the Business
- Supports the CVP and Chief of Staff in managing and driving MRTA’s Rhythm of Business (ROB), including the design, development, and execution of processes and cadences that align with MRTA’s strategic goals and priorities.
- Ensures the ROB is current and iterated on as organizational priorities and audiences evolve
- Attends key ROB meetings, ensuring accurate record keeping and timely response to action items
- As appropriate, supports the internal continuation of business operations during periods of change or special circumstances
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 4+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles
- OR equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience building formal internal communication plans
- 2+ year’s experience in technology communications, operations, or process management
- Experience exercising strategic judgment and scenario planning skills, including risk mitigation and stakeholder alignment.
- OR equivalent experience.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check:
- This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred/Additional Qualifications
- Demonstrated success thriving in dynamic, startup-like environments with evolving priorities, cross-functional collaboration, and high executive visibility.
- 4+ years of experience in technology communications, operations, and process management.
- Proven track record of working within an Executive Office or similar environment requiring exceptional discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Ability to influence senior leaders and provide diplomatic pushback.
- Understanding of corporate structures and culture, with the ability to navigate complex organizations effectively.
Business Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $96,500 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $123,500 - $206,400 per year.
