Job Overview:

Here's your chance to step into the role of Manager Digital Marketing and Social Media - Dubai Holding Entertainment. In this position, you'll take on key responsibilities that include:

Digital / Performance Marketing

  • Develop and implement the digital marketing strategy across all stages of the marketing funnel to maximise performance and growth. 
  • Oversee end-to-end execution of digital campaigns, ensuring alignment with overall marketing objectives. Provide continuous optimisation of campaigns to enhance performance, including managing campaign briefs, periodic reporting and debriefs. o Lead the development of the annual digital strategy and campaign roadmap, setting clear departmental goals and deliverables. 
  • Oversee the digital marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources. Lead staff hiring, training, and professional development activities. 
  • Continuously track and assess the performance of digital channels, ensuring they are effectively reaching target audiences and driving conversions. 
  • Cultivate strong relationships with external agencies, platform providers, and internal teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities and ensure seamless collaboration. 
  • Stay ahead of the curve by researching emerging trends in technology, digital marketing and consumer behaviour that could impact the company’s competitive position. 
  • GDPR Compliance: Ensure that all digital marketing activities comply with GDPR regulations, including training and management of compliance processes. 

Social Media Management

  • Lead the development and execution of a strategic social media plan to increase brand awareness, drive customer engagement and foster community growth across all relevant platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, Snapchat etc.). 
  • Collaborate with brand & creative teams and external partners to curate engaging content that resonates with target audiences and manage content calendars to ensure consistency across social media channels. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with followers, influencers and brand advocates in collaboration with external agencies and partners. Monitor social media conversations, address customer inquiries and manage reputational risks. 
  • Plan, execute and manage social media campaigns (organic and paid), including influencer collaborations, paid social media ads, contests and partnerships to support business objectives and drive customer engagement. 
  • Ensure all social media activities comply with brand guidelines, tone, and messaging to maintain a consistent and authentic brand presence. 
  • Monitor and analyse social conversations, competitor activities, and industry trends. Use insights to inform strategies, adjust messaging, and identify opportunities for growth. 
  • Stay updated on the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure all brands stay ahead of the curve and leverages new opportunities to connect with audiences.

About You:

The preferred candidate for this role should possess the following experience and credentials:

  • A Bachelor’s/master’s degree in marketing, Digital Media or equivalent professional qualification. 
  • 12+ years of experience in digital marketing and social media, with a minimum of 5 years in leadership roles.
  • Proven success in managing performance marketing and social media functions, driving measurable customer growth and engagement. 
  • Extensive experience working with multiple brands, ideally within ecommerce, travel & tourism, banking and other tech-driven industries. 
  • Strong background in data-driven marketing, leveraging insights for strategy development and optimisation. Classification: Internal 
  • Proven leadership experience in leading digital marketing teams across the Middle East region. 
  • In-depth expertise in performance marketing channels, including Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, Programmatic Networks, Affiliate and Publisher platforms. 
  • Extensive experience with social media platforms with a deep understanding of platform algorithms, best practices and audience behaviour.
