Schedule:  Full Time Day Shift

This position is part of the IU Health Physical Security Team and helps maintain the physical systems across the IU Health enterprise. It is this position’s responsibility to triage all security system and hardware requests that are entered and ensure the issues are addressed in a timely manner. This person will perform scheduled and non-scheduled preventative maintenance on physical security hardware, respond to calls, and troubleshoot the systems as needed. Monitors and recommends appropriate improvements and corrections to the physical security system infrastructure.   

  • High School Diploma/GED is required. Associate's Degree is preferred.
  • Requires a minimum of 3 years of mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting and repair experience.
  • Requires technical knowledge of electronic access control and video management systems and their associated hardware, control panels, door readers, and IP cameras.
  • Requires the ability to read and interpret information from blueprints, schematics and diagrams to navigate throughout facilities.
  • Job requires installing devices while on all size ladders, lifting equipment up to 50 LBS, and working in confined spaces.
  • Requires general knowledge in the use of power and hand tools.
  • Requires a valid Indiana driver's license with proof of insurance.
