Associate Director (Finance) (at the rank of Senior Assistant Registrar)

Associate Director (Finance) (at the rank of Senior Assistant Registrar) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 533447), to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance. 

Applicants should have a good university degree, with not less than 15 years’ relevant administrative or management experience, plus at least 10 years’ experience in a business school setting in handling financial matters.  They should be able to demonstrate leadership of a sizeable team, sound judgment and a high capacity for independent action.  An excellent command of languages, and outstanding analytical, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written) are essential.  Applicants should have in-depth knowledge of the University’s financial regulations and procedures. 

The appointee will oversee the financial strategic planning of the Faculty, perform regular financial analysis and reports for the Faculty management, ensure the Faculty’s compliance with the University’s requirements, co-ordinate with the Finance and Enterprises Office on all finance-related matters, manage overseas and mainland China outreach centres, supervise and lead the Faculty’s finance team, and perform any other duties as assigned.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.  The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 15% of basic salary.
