Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Plant Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations at our facilities in the Greater Cincinnati area including all ready mix facilities and aggregate terminal facilities including barge unloading operation, general offices, and other facilities and property as may be acquired or operated. This leadership role is vital in ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of all plant equipment and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background, excellent management skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and oversee maintenance strategies to maximize equipment uptime and operational efficiency.
- Lead and supervise the maintenance team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Schedule and prioritize maintenance activities to minimize production downtime.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safety-first culture within the maintenance department.
- Manage maintenance budgets, procurement of parts and services, and inventory control.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to identify and address potential issues proactively.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and support operational goals.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and compliance documentation.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize maintenance processes and reduce costs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Supervisory experience preferred.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to identify issues and to determine repairs that are needed.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software as needed to complete reports, logs, and inventory.
