About The Role
As a Talent & Culture (T&C) Operations Specialist in our Taiwan T&C team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality operational support across a broad spectrum of T&C activities.
You will ensure the accurate and timely execution of payroll, tax filing, and reporting tasks, while also supporting recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, and compliance processes. Your responsibilities will include coordination with government authorities, documentation management, and contributing to the planning and execution of T&C-related meetings, training sessions, and health & safety wellbeing initiatives—helping to foster a positive, compliant, and people-centric workplace environment.

What Will Your Day Look Like?
As a Talent & Culture Operations Specialist you will;
- Generate staff reports from SuccessFactors and leave reports from payroll systems to support payroll and compliance processes.
- Access the common system mailboxes daily to check assigned tasks and prepare for timely action.
- Monitor the common maailbox for employee queries related to leave, claims, and overtime, and prepare accurate responses.
- Proactively seek opportunities for process improvement to enhance operational efficiency.
- Demonstrate curiosity about downstream impacts to ensure thoughtful execution of tasks.
- Build effective working relationships with employees, third-party vendors, and the wider T&C team.
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding communications to ensure a seamless employee experience.
- Administer T&C systems, including uploading and validating employee records and generating reports.
- Prepare employee documents (e.g., Certificates of Employment) upon request, ensuring delivery within SLA timelines.
- Collate data for government regulatory reporting, such as Department of Labor surveys.
- Process vendor invoices accurately and ensure timely payments, supporting budget adherence.
- Maintain orderly filing and record retention to ensure audit readiness and compliance.
- Ensure full compliance with ANZ Group governance policies and local employer obligations, proactively managing risks across T&C processes.
What Will You Bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data handling and reporting.
- Solid understanding of payroll processing and related operational tasks.
- Familiarity with Taiwan’s Employment Act is a must, understanding of Income Tax Act, and other relevant regulations will be a plus.
- Hands-on experience in payroll and pension scheme calculations.
- Ability to analyse data and identify trends or insights to support decision-making and process improvement.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English as you will be interacting with employees speaking in these languages.
- Positive “can-do” attitude with the ability to work under tight deadlines, adapt to changing priorities, and follow through on tasks.
- High risk-awareness and attention to compliance in all aspects of work.
