As a Senior Data Scientist with ML/LLM/GenAI skills, you will play a critical role in advancing our AI capabilities and driving the development of innovative solutions that harness the power of machine learning, large language models and generative AI. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize AI models, ensuring they deliver actionable insights and tangible business value. Your expertise will be pivotal in shaping our AI strategy and contributing to the overall success of our AI initiatives.

What You’Ll Be Doing

1.Leads the extraction and analysis of big data through the application of Data Science & AI techniques to generate insight from data to support decision-making across the business or to embed in new products and services.
2.Drives model development, including data exploration, training data, feature extraction, validation and scoring.
3.Drives the development of insightful visualisations to make sophisticated analyses accessible to a broad audience.
4.Drives initiatives related to fairness, ethics, interpretability, safety, robustness, and privacy in the context of artificial intelligence and machine learning.
5.Mentors other Data Science & AI professionals, helping to improve the team's abilities by acting as a technical resource.
6.Champions, continuously develops and shares with team knowledge on emerging trends and changes in machine learning and artificial intelligence.

The Skills You’Ll Need To Succeed

• Experience with fine-tuning and optimizing AI models for specific tasks and domains.
• Knowledge of ethical AI practices and the ability to implement fairness, accountability, and transparency in AI systems.
• Familiarity with A/B testing, experimental design, and statistical analysis.
• Publications or contributions to the AI/ML community through conferences, journals, or open-source projects.

Required Qualifications

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in data science, with a focus on Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP, LLMs, and generative AI.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
• Strong experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers).
• Nice to have: In-depth understanding of deep learning techniques and architectures (e.g., Transformers, RNNs, CNNs).
• Proven track record of deploying AI models in production environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively and strategically.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
