About The Role
Our Solvay Peroxythai - MTP Bicar team, composed of 12 people, is integrated in the Production department and focuses on Pharmaceutical operations and compliance in collaboration with Quality, Maintenance, HSE and Supply chain.
As a Production Pharmacist Supervisor, you will work on Sodium bicarbonate production to support Day-to-Day operations. You will get the opportunity to contribute to Good management/ Improvement and have a positive impact on Plant performance and Quality standard. You will be accountable for:
- Team Leadership & Daily Operations: Lead, manage, and mentor the production team to ensure daily operational targets for productivity, quality, and safety are consistently achieved. Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as the central communication hub for the production team, liaising with Quality, Maintenance, HSE, and Supply Chain to resolve daily issues and ensure seamless operational flow.
- GMP & Regulatory Oversight: Uphold and enforce compliance of all production operations with applicable GMP regulations for Pharmaceutical, FEED, and FOOD products, serving as the subject matter expert on the production floor.
- SOP Development & Implementation: Author, revise, and manage Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Lead the effective deployment and training of colleagues to ensure seamless adoption. Process Optimization & Engineering Partnership: Serve as the key operational liaison to the Process Engineering team. Identify opportunities for process improvement from the production floor and collaborate with engineers to support the implementation of technical solutions.
- Deviation Management & Problem Solving: Lead investigations as the Main Investigator for all production and packing-related issues, deviations, and complaints. You will manage the immediate response on the floor, then partner with Process Engineers and/or Area owners for in-depth analysis to propose solutions and ensure timely follow-up.
- Audit & CAPA Management: Serve as a key representative for the Production department during internal and external audits. Take ownership of audit-related findings and drive the timely closure of all assigned CAPAs. This includes preparing investigation reports and ensuring follow-up on CAPA for both Production and Packing sections. Validation and Qualification : Execute and manage validation and qualification protocols in accordance with stringent pharmaceutical industry requirements to ensure processes are robust and capable. Your scope will cover the entire validation system in the plant, including: Cleanroom Qualification, with a focus on driving improvements in ventilation, pressure, and airflow into packing areas. Process, Utility (Air, Water), and Cleaning Validation. Equipment and Computer System Validation.
- Product Quality Review: Actively contribute, organize and lead to the preparation and analysis of the Annual Product Review (APR), utilizing data to maintain and elevate operational performance. Batch Record & Data Integrity: Responsible for the verification of production and packing records, ensuring the integrity of all documents and in-process lab data through cross-checking and audit trail reviews.
We offer a permanent contract based on Rayong, Thailand as onsite working mode.
About You
Relevant education degree or equivalent in a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Pharmaceutical Sciences. A minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience within the Pharmaceutical manufacturing industry or related fields.
Competencies:
- Proven experience in leading and motivating a production team within a manufacturing environment would be highly preferred. Strong operational management skills with a demonstrated ability to meet production targets.
- Must hold a valid "First-Class Pharmacist" license as stipulated by the Drug Act B.E. 2510.
- Professional fluency in both Thai and English (written and verbal). Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to serve as a clear and effective point of contact for diverse teams.

About The Pay
Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. The base pay reasonably expected for this role is
- THB 74,794 to 93,323 per month in Thailand
Your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
