This position is open to full-time telecommuters anywhere in Canada or continental US.
As a Full-Stack React Developer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development of our core applications, from building highly responsive user interfaces with React to designing and implementing scalable backend services. You will be instrumental in bridging the gap between front-end design and back-end logic, ensuring seamless and secure data flow across the entire application. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in both modern JavaScript/React and modern backend development (in languages like Node.js, Python, or Go), and a commitment to ownership across the whole stack.

Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Feature Development: Design, develop, and maintain responsive, scalable, and high-performance user interfaces using React.js and its ecosystem.
- Backend Service Implementation: Build, secure, and maintain RESTful APIs and services using a modern backend framework (e.g., Python/Flask/Django, or Go).
- Database Integration: Design and optimize database schemas (SQL/NoSQL) and write efficient queries to support application features.
- Architecture & Reusability: Build reusable components and libraries for both the front-end and back-end to ensure a consistent and modular architecture.
- State Management & Logic: Implement complex state management solutions (Redux, Zustand, Context API) and handle server-side logic and business rules.
- DevOps & Deployment: Work with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and cloud environments to deploy and manage full-stack applications.
- Code Quality & Security: Write clean, well-tested code with clear documentation, focusing on code quality, performance, and security across the full stack.
- Collaboration: Participate in code reviews for both front-end and back-end contributions, providing constructive feedback and contributing to team standards.
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application code for maximum speed and scalability across the entire deployment lifecycle.
Skills, Knowledge And Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven professional experience as a Full-Stack Developer with a focus on React.
- Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- In-depth knowledge of React.js and its fundamental concepts (functional components, hooks, state management).
- Professional experience designing and implementing backend services using languages like Node.js, Python, and Go.
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and writing optimized database queries.
- Experience with state management libraries (Redux, Redux Toolkit, or Zustand).
- Proficiency with Git for version control and collaborative development workflows.
- Solid understanding of asynchronous programming and data fetching across the stack.
- Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress) for unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to own and deliver features across the full
- Experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of TypeScript for both front-end and back-end development.
- Experience with server-side rendering frameworks like Next.js or API gateway technologies.
- Experience with generative AI for development acceleration.
- Familiarity with distributed computing, microservices, and message queues.
- Experience working with security tooling, vulnerability data, or build systems.
