The Role
We’re looking for an experienced and safety-minded Dayshift Electrician to join our high-performing team at our can manufacturing facility in Dandenong. In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and continuously improving our high-speed manufacturing equipment to ensure maximum performance and uptime. This is a full-time position, working 7am–3pm, Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on plant equipment and machinery.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults to minimise downtime and ensure efficient operations.
- Support project work, including equipment installation, upgrades, and commissioning.
- Collaborate with engineers and suppliers on equipment design, layout, and improvements.
- Assist in training apprentices and operator electricians on maintenance best practices.
- Maintain accurate documentation through engineering systems and ensure compliance with HSEQ standards.
- Qualified Electrical Trade Certificate (Advanced Certificate highly regarded).
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in industrial or high-speed manufacturing environments.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with floor staff, contractors, and engineers.
