General Facility Groundskeeper/Forklift Driver

Job Summary:

The Groundskeeper position is based at the Cook Purvis MS Plant, with operations in the U.S., and has overall responsibility for keeping up general maintenance of the plant.

Job Responsibilities:

• Office and facility cleaning.
• Clean and maintain offices, break rooms, and restrooms, ensuring sanitary and orderly conditions.
• Refill supplies such as sap, paper towels, and toilet paper as needed.
• Forklift operation.
• Light maintenance duties.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect floors and surfaces
• Perform regular trash pick up on facility grounds.
• Maintain fence lines by removing debris and overgrowth.

Requirements

Competencies (Skills, Knowledge, And Abilities):

• Must be able to PASS drug screen
• 1+ year of groundskeeping, custodial work, or general maintenance is a plus. 
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams. 
• Forklift experience 

Education/Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry moderately heavy objects, such as tools and equipment, during maintenance tasks. 
• Capability to bend, stoop, and reach while performing maintenance tasks or accessing equipment. 
• Extended periods of standing and walking to inspect machinery, conduct preventive maintenance, and address facility issues. 
•  Ability to climb ladders or access elevated areas to perform maintenance activities. 
• Endurance to perform physical tasks associated with maintenance, including walking, lifting, and using tools for extended periods.
