We’re growing, and we’re looking for exceptional talent to come onboard as Organic Marketing Manager / Senior Manager for our Hong Kong business.

Mission

This is a high-impact leadership role where you’ll guide our SEO roadmap, mentor a small team, and shape how millions of users discover MoneySmart through search. You’ll combine deep SEO expertise with strategic thinking - balancing technical precision, data-driven insights, and creative collaboration to drive sustained growth. You’ll partner closely with content, product, design, and commercial stakeholders to ensure SEO plays a central role in how we attract and convert audiences. We’re looking for someone who’s confident, forward-thinking, and excited about the future of search and AI-driven discovery.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end SEO strategy for MoneySmart HK across technical, structural, on-page, and off-page levers
  • Define and manage the SEO roadmap, balancing quick wins with long-term authority building
  • Stay at the forefront of evolving search trends - including AI Overviews, semantic search, and generative AI implications
  • Conduct keyword clustering, topic modeling, and SERP analysis to identify high-intent growth opportunities
  • Collaborate with the content team to shape SEO-first content strategies and ensure best practices across metadata, schema, and linking
  • Partner with tech and product teams to optimize crawlability, site architecture, Core Web Vitals, and dynamic rendering
  • Manage relationships with external SEO or backlink agencies when required
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of SEO specialists - building a culture of accountability and excellence
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, content, commercial, and design teams to align priorities and unlock synergies
  • Confidently represent SEO in stakeholder discussions, sharing insights and influencing decisions
  • Build dashboards to track SEO KPIs, conversion metrics, and landing page performance
  • Communicate results and insights clearly to senior stakeholders
  • Use data and experimentation to continuously optimize strategies

Requirements

  • 6–9 years of hands-on SEO experience, ideally at a marketplace, fintech, or content-heavy consumer brand
  • Proven track record of driving scalable, high-intent organic traffic growth
  • Up-to-date with AI-driven search trends and their impact on SEO
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills - confident presenting to cross-functional teams and leadership
  • Experience managing teams, agencies, or freelancers with clear goal-setting and performance culture
  • Strong project management and prioritisation skills; ability to balance long-term projects with quick wins
  • Bilingual market experience (Cantonese/English)

Skills Required

  • Technical SEO Mastery – Deep understanding of crawlability, schema, Core Web Vitals, site structure, and JavaScript SEO
  • AI-Aware SEO – Strong awareness of how AI-driven search (AI Overviews, SGE, semantic indexing) impacts SEO strategies
  • Analytical Excellence – Skilled at keyword clustering, topic modeling, SERP analysis, and cohort-based reporting
  • Tool Proficiency – Experienced with GSC, GA4, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, and BI tools
  • Stakeholder Communication – Ability to translate SEO into business language and influence non-SEO stakeholders
  • Team Leadership – Experience coaching and managing SEO specialists or agencies with a performance-first mindset
  • Project Management – Strong organizational skills to balance long-term SEO projects with tactical quick wins
  • Collaboration – Proven ability to work with developers, designers, product managers, and content strategists
