The Role

The mission of Sotheby’s is to deliver the most compelling experiences filled with story-worthy moments of discovery and connection that deepen client relationships, bring the brand to life, drive word-of-mouth and increase lifetime value.

The Global Brand & Preferred Coordinator will support the Brand & Preferred team with alignment and integration of Sotheby’s programming and content with the broader art world, particularly through institutional relationships.   

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and regularly update the database of Preferred Partnership contacts, contracts, and associated benefits.
  • Compile and deliver an annual report on museum redemptions.
  • Manage the Preferred Newsletter channel end-to-end - from content planning and proofreading to coordinating with regional teams to align with partnership goals.
  • Monitor and analyse key performance metrics (open rate, click-through rate, dwell time) to inform and optimise the newsletter content calendar.
  • Support the Global Preferred Client Liaison and content agency in keeping editorial content up to date across digital, print, and other touchpoints (e.g. website, magazine).
  • Assist the Global Preferred Client Liaison with client communications and provide in-person support during Preferred Lounge activations in London.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of cultural events in non-key territories, such as the Venice Biennale and international travel programmes.
  • Provide in-person support at Preferred Tours and events, ensuring a seamless client experience.
  • Assist the Head of Brand with administrative support across brand campaign strategy, planning, and execution of key initiatives.
  • Support the production of brochures, marketing collateral, and branded gifts.
  • Maintain and update the global exhibitions calendar.
  • Maintain and update the internal staff benefits database.
  • Assist with budget management, including invoice processing and expense tracking.

Ideal Experience & Competencies

  • Bachelor’S Degree

  • Passionate about art and luxury and knowledgeable about the larger market ecosystem
  • Solutions-oriented with strong project management skills
  • An unwavering attention to detail and uncompromising standards
  • Ability to collaborate in a team environment and as well as work independently
  • Able to prioritize in complex, fast-paced environment working on several different and variety of projects at one time to tight deadlines
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills, as well as good interpersonal skills
  • Proficient use of Outlook, Work, PowerPoint presentation development and Excel
  • Additional languages a plus
