As Specialist, Payroll you will be part of a centralised team delivering People Operations Shared Services at Konecranes. You will be working as a specialist with our Human Resources Information System (HRIS) SAP SuccessFactors, focusing primarily on Payroll processes and support.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with multiple stakeholders, including People & Culture Network, employees and managers from various countries. Additionally, you will contribute to service transitions, system enhancements, process development, and implementation projects.
Key Tasks
- Provide full functional and process support in the Payroll domain areas and HRIS (SAP SuccessFactors and Payroll tools) within the People Operations Service Center team.
- Analyse HR transactions and maintain own data integrity by adhering to the Audit Control document guidelines and processes, ensuring performed tasks are in compliance. Collect and input both electronic and manual employee data into the HR/Payroll system.
- Partner with Internal Audit, Country HRs to ensure our processes adhere to audit control documents as well as regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Contribute to teamwork, share information with team members and maintain internal documentation used by the team.
- Continuously contribute to process improvement, participate in system/process testing in collaboration with the relevant teams and help develop the offer and service to maximize the value and increase business performance.
- In close collaboration with domain's Process Specialist(s) and Team Lead, contribute to the key initiatives supporting the implementation of the business development roadmap and strategy.
- Follow the requirements of the GDPR regulation tasks in daily work.
- Support People & Culture Network, employees, and managers on inquiries with high customer orientation and service attitude through our ServiceNow ticketing tool in a professional and timely manner.
- Provide training to relevant stakeholders on Payroll tools and other payroll matters as and when needed.
- Drive investigation of system issues and process gaps and coordinate actions for introducing interim mitigation solutions and for planning permanent fixes.
- Coordinate collection of data to support the creation of business cases for process development projects and system enhancement initiatives.
- Independently create reports and analysis on demand.
- Collaborate with team members and coordinate continuous improvement activities by mapping needs for process/system enhancements.
- Coordinate with vendors for Payregister, system updates, bank file and ongoing activities etc.
- Contribute to process improvement and system enhancement initiatives, including support with system testing and change management.
- Contribute to the development of global concepts, People Opeartions Service Center tools, and Payroll team practices for maximizing the added value of Payroll related services to the business.
- Coordinate internal projects for the development of processes in the Payroll domain.
- Provide support for dedicated strategic projects in People & Culture Network as per the defined role in the project team.
- Support peer teams within People Operations Service Center during the peak-period based on agreement with Team Lead.
- Substitute team members if needed.
- Other work-related duties may be assigned by management.
Qualifications
Main Role Requirements:
- Minimum 5-6 years of experience in HR in Global payroll
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in human resources or equivalent, Labour law knowledge is required
- Experience with employee data management.
- Experience working with SAP SuccessFactors, SeviceNow, Jira/Tracker, Payroll tools (Portico, BIPO) or other IT-ticketing tools.
- Experience in information system testing.
- Background in participating in projects related to implementation or enhancement of information systems.
- Proficiency in MS tools for data analytics and visualization.
- Excellent computer and technical skills.
- Multi-country working approach.
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
- Development mindset and knowledge of LEAN methodologies.
- Result-driven team player with good execution skills.
- Business and customer-oriented working attitude.
- Accurate, detail- and deadline-oriented with the ability to work with strict deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interaction skills.
- Ability to work fluently in English (written, spoken).
- Awareness of ISO 14001 and 45001 Standards
