Job Description
Griffith University is seeking to engage a locally based consultant to undertake marketing and agent support activities for the recruitment of international students. This is a great opportunity for a high performing individual to work with the dynamic Griffith International team and make an impact in the lives of future Griffith University students.

With a locally based representative, Griffith International will provide increased support to its education agents and strategic partners, enhance the standing of the University’s profile, and assist with the recruitment of students and provision of international student support.
This is a full-time, two year appointment based in South Korea and will require travel throughout the region, including some overseas travel.
About the role
The consultant is responsible for developing and implementing marketing plans and initiatives to support the recruitment of international students from South Korea. Working closely with the Regional Marketing Director, the consultant will manage relationships with the University’s agent network, strategic partners, and key stakeholders to effectively counsel and support prospective students in their decision to study at Griffith University. This includes promoting pathway options such as those offered by Griffith English Language Institute.
About the person
The successful consultant will hold a relevant tertiary qualification and subsequent relevant experience in international education recruitment, and will speak fluent English and Korean.
You Will Demonstrate:
- Experience in developing and executing international marketing strategies in the education sector.
- A strong understanding of the Australian international and higher education landscape, including key regulatory frameworks.
- The ability to identify, analyse and capitalise on student recruitment opportunities.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with proven ability to build relationships and negotiate effectively across cultures.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the capacity to work independently under broad direction.
- A creative and innovative mindset, capable of designing campaigns that resonate across diverse audiences.
The right candidate will be proactive, adaptable, and able to manage their day-to-day workload autonomously as an overseas-based member of the Griffith International marketing team. The consultant must hold or be able to obtain a valid work permit for South Korea.
- Salary Range
- A competitive remuneration package will be negotiated on a fee for service basis with the successful consultant. This is not an expatriate package position.
