The Role

Reporting to the Innovation and Technology Manager, the MES OT Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, and support of manufacturing execution systems within the production environment. This role involves working closely with IT, operations, and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and maintanance of MES solutions (Siemens OpCenter) that enhance operational efficiency, data accuracy, and compliance with industry standards.

Duties

•    Design, configure, and maintain MES applications to support manufacturing processes
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
•    Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to MES applications and their integration with other systems
•    Ensure data integrity and accuracy across the MES and related systems
•    Conduct system testing and validation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
•    Provide training and support to end-users on MES functionalities and best practices
•    Monitor system performance and implement improvements as necessary
•    Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to MES and OT

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum 5-8 years experience in IT systems in a pharma/medical device or similar industry with an established track record (Strong candidates coming from other industries or other GMP / FDA regulated background will also be considered)•    Working knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and globally distributed team members (IT program management experience preferred)•    Strong leadership skills including development of IT Systems team, successfully executing IT system objectives and projects, ability to lead in a cross-matrix work environment.•    Strong planning, communication and team leadership skills required•    Proven ability to work as a member of a larger project leadership team•    Excellent use of initiative and adaptable to changing priorities•    Ability to deal effectively with all employees and external business contacts while conveying a positive, service-oriented attitude•    Effective presentation and communication skills- both written and verbal•    Proven experience in MES implementation and support, preferably in a manufacturing setting•    Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and operational technology
• Knowledge of computer system validation standards and practices and a quality mindset•    Proficiency in programming languages and MES platforms (e.g., AspenTech, Siemens, Rockwell)•    Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills
