The Work:

  • Implement measures to motivate employees and to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency.
  • Review operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems.
  • Develop and implement production tracking and quality control systems, analyzing production, quality control, and maintenance to detect production problems.
  • Hire, train, evaluate, and discharge staff, and resolve personal grievances.
  • Set and monitor product standards to ensure quality finished products.
  • Prepare and maintain production reports and personnel records.

Here’S What You’Ll Need:

  • High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
  • 8 - 10 years experience required.

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Strong verbal communication skills with keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Proven ability to work independently while effectively managing time and priorities
  • In-depth knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and quality control methods to optimize manufacturing and distribution
  • Familiarity with machines and tools, including their design, operation, maintenance, and repair
  • Skilled in design techniques, tools, and principles used in creating technical plans, blueprints, and detailed models
  • Focused on maximizing efficiency and precision in all stages of production and project execution
