Role Overview

Location: Le Chesnay, France

NETGEAR is seeking a dynamic and strategic Regional Sales Director to lead its sales operations across Southern Europe (France, Italy, Iberia).

This critical leadership role blends strategic oversight with the cultivation of a high-performance sales culture, driving sustainable revenue growth while navigating ongoing transitions within the sales organisation. The Regional Sales Director will be instrumental in shaping and executing regional sales strategies, fostering team excellence, and delivering consistent business results

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and lead the sales organization with a focus on high performance, customer-centric engagement with execution excellence.
  • Lead sales teams to ensure they are executing strategy in line with global strategy, and provide strong leadership to empower and inspire the sales team.
  • Help the team prioritize efficiently the strategic customers development each quarter, aligned plan for execution.
  • Establish a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Act as a change champion, ensuring clear communication, alignment on sales growth transition.
  • Forecasting and reporting sales metrics of the South European commercial business by channels and project pipeline.
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor environment to identify new opportunities and drive growth.
  • Recruit and develop new partner relationships to drive NETGEAR business with a focus on face-to-face customer engagement and relationship.
  • Create proposals, business plan, negotiate agreements, and maintain a strong overall relationship with partners/new business.
  • Partner with marketing, operations, finance and systems engineering to deliver seamless customer experience to optimize sales results.
  • Collaborate with peers and stakeholders to share business insights, and insure effective functioning of sales teams.
  • Provide all information relevant for NETGEAR to improve business (Competitive information, market trend, channel/technological hidden issues impacting performance).

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or related field.
  • Proven track record of 10+ years in sales leadership within a multinational or complex organizational environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead sales transformations, transitions, or restructuring initiatives.
  • Strong experience in building and developing high-performance teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluency in English and French language is essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Mba Qualification

  • Fluency in Italian and/or Spanish

Additional Requirements:

Travel will be required to approx. 50% of the time – from joint calls to partners, integrators and end customers, to generating awareness/preference/leads at trade shows, to drive integration of NETGEAR products as part of the channel partner’s solution offering.
