This is a contract opportunity in which you will perform a 1-day customer QMS audit in Karachi, Pakistan. You are given the flexibility to accept or reject these assignments according to your own availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Virtual and Onsite Assessments: Evaluate supplier products and processes according to our client's stringent requirements using QuaSAR and ProBAR tools.
- Quality Management System Audits: Assess suppliers' QMS against our client's QuaSAR QMS and ProBAR product quality requirements, ensuring procedures, work instructions, and documentation meet our standards.
- Inspection Verification: Ensure inspection equipment and methodologies are capable of detecting defects and validate in-process controls and records traceability.
- Report Compilation: Compile detailed assessment reports, incorporating evidence and documenting scores and identified gaps.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with suppliers and our client's internal teams to resolve quality issues and ensure effective implementation of CAPA procedures.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in quality engineering, with expertise in statistics, variability reduction, manufacturing methods, and data analysis. Strong knowledge of RCCA, failure analysis, 8D, and Six Sigma methodologies.
- A degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
- Ability to detect discrepancies and ensure thorough, accurate quality assessments.
- Effective verbal and written communication, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
- Proactive approach to identifying issues and driving solutions. Willingness to travel to supplier locations as required.
