Full Stack Developer (Python/Django + React)

About The Role

As a Full Stack Developer, you’ll lead end-to-end feature delivery across a fast-paced, detail-oriented engagement with a highly technical client—owning backend services and frontend experiences while collaborating directly with stakeholders to ship high-quality, maintainable code.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python (Django)
• Build responsive, modular frontend interfaces with React
• Own features from discovery through deployment, monitoring, and iteration
• Collaborate directly with a technically-savvy client; communicate trade-offs and timelines
• Write clean, tested, and well-documented code; participate in code reviews
• Manage GitHub workflows, including branching, pull requests, and CI integrations
• Apply basic DevOps practices (SSH, secrets management, deployment awareness)
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve production and integration issues
• Proactively identify technical risks, propose solutions, and drive decisions
• Other duties as assigned

About You

Qualifications & Skills

• 5–8 years of relevant full stack development experience
• Proven expertise building backend applications with Python and Django
• Strong proficiency with React and modern frontend tooling (TypeScript, bundlers, testing)
• Solid understanding of software design principles, testing, and code quality
• Experience with GitHub-based workflows (PRs, reviews, branching strategies)
• Basic DevOps familiarity: SSH, secret management, deployment processes
• Excellent communication skills; comfortable engaging directly with technical stakeholders
• Highly autonomous, proactive, and accountable; able to lead workstreams end-to-end
• Nice to have: Go (Golang) experience; CI/CD and cloud (AWS/GCP); mentorship/leadership experience
