Who We Are Looking For
The Senior Software Engineer is a key technical contributor responsible for designing, developing, and scaling cloud-native software solutions that power Re:Build’s digital platforms. This role combines deep hands-on engineering with architectural influence, ensuring reliability, performance, and maintainability across complex systems.
You will collaborate closely with product, design, and cross-functional engineering teams to drive innovation, integrate emerging technologies such as AI/ML, and deliver high-quality software that meets both business and technical objectives.
The ideal candidate excels at solving complex technical challenges, champions clean, efficient, and testable code, and contributes to a culture of continuous improvement through code reviews, mentorship, and adherence to best practices. Staying ahead of industry trends, you’ll help shape Re:Build’s technology roadmap and ensure our solutions remain scalable, secure, and future-ready.
What You Get To Do!
- Lead the design and architecture of software systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and high performance.
- Solve complex technical challenges and optimize system performance through innovative solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical leadership and direction to help them grow.
- Ability to write and maintain technical documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, QA, and operations, to drive product development and ensure successful delivery
- Adhere to Best Practices with company software
Must-Have Qualifications
Programming & Frameworks
- Deep expertise in C# and proficiency with modern JavaScript frameworks, especially React, for building responsive, high-performance, and user-centric web applications.
Cloud & Infrastructure
- Strong experience architecting and deploying cloud-native, serverless, and containerized applications on AWS (Lambda, ECS, DynamoDB, S3, Step Functions, API Gateway, Fargate).
Ai/Ml Integration
- Experienced in integrating AI/ML technologies into production software systems, leveraging frameworks like OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, and LangChain, with a strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, APIs, and intelligent automation workflows.
Apis & Integration
- Proficiency in designing and working with RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
Security & Compliance
- Awareness of authentication, authorization, encryption, and compliance best practices for cloud-hosted applications.
Foundational Knowledge

- Hands-on experience participating in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and cross-team collaboration.

Location:
- For consideration candidates must be based in either Pacific or Mountain Time Zones
Travel Requirement:
- Quarterly travel to the Los Angeles, CA office is required for team meetings.
