We are seeking an experienced and driven Country Manager (Poland) to lead and grow our operations in Poland. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role responsible for driving commercial performance, building strong local partnerships, and ensuring operational excellence in line with our global objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and oversee all company operations in Poland, ensuring alignment with the global strategic direction.
- Drive commercial growth by actively leading business development and sales initiatives across B2C and emerging B2B segments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key merchants, partners, and regulatory authorities to strengthen the company's market position.
- Ensure operational compliance with both local regulations and internal corporate standards.
- Collaborate with global and regional functional leaders (Product, Marketing, Finance, Risk, Operations) in a matrix organization to ensure seamless execution and communication.
- Represent the company as a local ambassador, fostering a high-performance culture and team engagement.
- Monitor financial performance, control costs, and oversee P&L responsibilities.
- Support the professional growth and motivation of the local team.

Requirements
- University degree in Economics, Finance, Law, or Management.
- Min. of 8 years in senior commercial or business leadership roles, ideally in the Fintech, payment services, cards services, or digital consumer services sectors.
- Proven experience in scaling businesses, launching financial products, and driving revenue growth.
- Strong knowledge of the Polish financial services market, customer behavior, and regulatory environment.
- Demonstrated success working in or with international/matrix organizations.
- Solid financial acumen, including P&L management and financial reporting.
- Strong strategic, analytical, and leadership capabilities.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, hands-on approach, and adaptability to dynamic environments.
- Fluency in Polish and English (minimum C1 level).
- Willingness to travel as required.
Assets:
- Postgraduate studies (e.g. MBA) in management or finance are a plus.
