Job Description Summary

As a ServiceNow Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering scalable ServiceNow solutions that support Service Stream’s field service operations. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to build custom applications, automate workflows, and integrate systems that enhance service delivery and user experience. This role is pivotal in driving innovation and ensuring the platform evolves with business needs.

You will join a high-performing, welcoming team, based at our modern Docklands Head Office (minimum 3 days on site per week) which offers a vibrant environment featuring a balcony, BBQ area, collaborative and quiet spaces, and plenty of natural light.

About The Role

• Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow applications and modules including work orders, service requests, scheduling, dispatching, and inventory management.
• Configure and customize ServiceNow modules to meet business requirements, ensuring alignment with best practices.
• Integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems (e.g., ERP, Workforce Compliance) and other ServiceNow modules.
• Automate workflows and business rules using Flow Designer and other ServiceNow tools.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Conduct testing, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Document designs, configurations, and provide training to users and support teams.
• Maintain and enhance existing ServiceNow applications, managing upgrades and patches.
• Perform data migration and transformation using Import Sets and related tools.
• Support UI development using ServiceNow UI Builder, Workspaces, and Next Experience.

Skills And Experience

• Must have Australian Citizenship.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development and configuration.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow modules including ITSM, FSM, CSM, ASM.
• Experience with ServiceNow Mobile App Builder and UI Builder.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, GlideScript, HTML, CSS, and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Experience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and MID Server.
• Ability to design intuitive, responsive, and accessible user interfaces.
• Domain knowledge in Telco or Utilities is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Agile delivery experience and ability to work collaboratively in high-performing teams.
• Tertiary qualifications in IT are desirable; technical certifications preferred.
