[What you will be working on]

As our trainee, you will support the development and implementation of sustainability and smart facilities management (FM) initiatives within the RTS Link station. The scope of work will include assisting to identify opportunities for energy efficiency, water conservation, and waste reduction. You will contribute to the evaluation of smart FM solutions, such as IoT sensors, data dashboards, and predictive maintenance tools, and support stakeholder engagement activities, including sustainability awareness campaigns for staff and tenants. 

In addition, you will be involved in reviewing and documenting processes, conducting site inspections to ensure compliance with green building and safety requirements, and providing administrative and research support to the FM team. This role offers hands-on exposure to sustainable infrastructure management in a high-profile cross-border transport facility.

[What we are looking for]

Requirements:

1. Analytical and Research Skills – Ability to collect, interpret, and present data on sustainability and smart FM initiatives, including energy consumption, system performance, and environmental benchmarks.

2.    Technical Aptitude and Digital Literacy – Familiarity with building management systems, IoT solutions, or data visualisation tools, with a willingness to learn and apply smart FM technologies.

3.    Communication and Collaboration – Strong written and verbal skills to prepare reports, presentations, and campaign materials, coupled with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including FM teams, tenants, and regulatory agencies.
