Job Position

• Carelon Global Solutions India is Seeking a  QA Engineer.
• Reporting to Team Lead, you will help refine and grow the capabilities of current systems, driving continuous improvement to meet our engineering needs.
• You will be responsible for designing, developing, and sustaining new product introduction related health care application systems.
• In this role, you will also promote best practices and internal business processes. You will be responsive and able to adapt quickly to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment.
• You will work in a data driven environment, have a desire to drive change, and be excited by the opportunity to analyze systematic issues and implement solutions to challenging problems.

Job Responsibility

• Understand and analyze software requirements, specifications, and design documents.
• Develop, execute, and maintain detailed manual test cases for functional, UI, usability, and regression testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using a bug tracking system.
• Perform various types of manual testing, including smoke, sanity, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
• Perform API testing for web services and microservices using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or similar.
• Validate API functionality, data integrity, and error handling.
• Create and execute API test cases based on API documentation and requirements.
• Write and execute SQL queries to perform database testing and data validation.
• Verify data integrity, consistency, and accuracy in the database.
• Assist in identifying and troubleshooting data-related issues.

Qualification

• Full time IT Engineering or equivalent degree (preferably in Computers ).
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience

• Experience as Manual tester
• Good Knowledge in Manual/API and SQL testing
• Overall IT experience of 3+ years
• 3+ years experience in Manual/API and SQL testing
• Hands-on experience working on Jira, Confluence and Postman

Skills And Competencies

• Basic knowledge in Python scripting would be beneficial
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
• Ability to work in fast paced environment
• Ability to manage the expectations of stakeholders
• Passion about sharing knowledge and best practice
• Ability to work in virtual teams and in matrix organizations
• Needs to be a self-starter with significant ability to undertake initiatives.
• Strong interpersonal / good negotiations skills are required.
