What will your role look like?

As a Reporting Actuary, you’ll play a key role in our actuarial and risk reporting processes, especially around Solvency II. You’ll also act as a trusted advisor to management on actuarial matters. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Solvency II reporting, focusing on the balance sheet, technical provisions, own funds, and operating capital generation.
  • Reviewing profit testing, assumptions, methodologies, and models.
  • Conducting backtesting and actual vs expected experience assessments.
  • Supporting projects, business planning, and financial forecasting.
  • Contributing to IFRS 17 reporting, and identifying synergies with Solvency II through process automation.
  • Participating in the preparation of key reports such as the Actuarial Function Report, SFCR, and ORSA.
  • Reviewing profit testing, assumptions, methodologies, and models.
  • Conducting backtesting and actual vs expected experience assessments.
  • Supporting projects, business planning, and financial forecasting.
  • Contributing to IFRS 17 reporting, and identifying synergies with Solvency II through process automation.

What are we looking for?

  • A degree in Actuarial Sciences or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in similar roles.
  • Solid knowledge of Solvency II valuation and reporting, especially Technical Provisions and Own Funds.
  • Experience with Prophet or R3S (mandatory).
  • Familiarity with VBA, SQL, Python, or R (a plus).
  • Experience with SCR, ORSA, and scenario testing (highly valued).
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools and Power BI.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
  • A mindset that combines analytical thinking, ownership, and a drive to get things done. We value team players who are independent, intellectually curious, and efficient.
