Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Production Manager to oversee and manage the production of printed items and fabricated products related to the dressing and signage for the FIFA World Cup 2026. This role will require you to work closely with both internal and external teams, including clients, venues, suppliers, and manufacturers, to ensure smooth production processes, high-quality outputs, and timely delivery.  

What You’Ll Do

  • Production Scheduling & Coordination 
  • Create and manage detailed production schedules to align with the client’s requirements and communicate the schedule to the Production Lead. 
  • Ensure timely delivery and consistent quality of printed and fabricated products. 
  • Work closely with the Dressing and Wayfinding team to identify materials and define the appropriate production methodology. 
  • Coordinate the production programme within your scope, ensuring alignment with the overall project master schedule. 
  • Provide regular updates on production progress, including weekly and monthly reports, against the production schedule. 
  • Material Specifications & Methodology

  • Define the specifications for materials and methodologies for the production and installation of Dressing and Wayfinding items, ensuring that the implementation plan is followed strictly (signage content is not part of your scope). 
  • Research, specify, and suggest supply chain partners based on product types and sustainability objectives. 
  • Collaborate with engineers and manufacturers to design, prototype, and fabricate production structures. 
  • Quality Control & Risk Management 
  • Ensure all products are "fit for purpose" and meet client and project specifications. 
  • Identify risks within the supply chain and provide mitigating solutions. 
  • Visit suppliers (where reasonable) to evaluate their capabilities and assess potential risks. 
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers to maintain high-quality standards and establish regular reporting procedures. 
  • Supply Chain & Procurement Coordination 
  • Research, specify, and suggest supply chain partners based on product types and sustainability objectives.

  • Work with logistics to ensure accurate packaging and distribution instructions for products. 
  • Monitor and control budgets to maintain expected margins within the supply chain, identifying and highlighting any financial risks. 
  • Client & Stakeholder Communication 
  • Manage client expectations through clear communication, regular updates, and coordination on production timelines and challenges to Project General Manager/Director. 
  • Prepare presentations and documents for the client, ensuring the final product aligns with their vision and requirements. 
  • Coordinate with design integration teams to receive and distribute artwork for production. 
  • Data Management & Reporting 
  • Input relevant data into the Quest system and other IT platforms for effective production tracking.

  • Create Job Bags and Purchase Orders in line with artwork and budget approved items by client.  
  • Ensure data accuracy for integration with other teams, including the operations team for booking crews, equipment, and deliveries. 
  • Social & Sustainability Initiatives 
  • Support the Sustainability Manager in promoting social purpose ambitions and ensuring the project aligns with sustainability objectives. 
  • Engage with the team to consider the second life and legacy of the products and installations. 

What We’re Looking For 

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred 
  • Proven experience in production management, particularly in printed and fabricated products. 
  • Strong understanding of material specifications, production methodologies, and supply chain management. 
  • Ability to create and manage detailed production schedules, ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards. 
  • Familiarity with sustainability practices and the ability to incorporate them into production planning and execution. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to apply practical solutions to production challenges. 
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, both with clients and internal teams. 
  • Experience in managing budgets and understanding financial risks in production. 
  • Proficient in data entry, reporting, and use of production management systems (e.g., Quest). 
  • Ability to travel to suppliers and production sites as necessary. 
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail. 
  • Proactive and solution-oriented, with the ability to anticipate and address challenges. 
  • Collaborative and able to work well within a cross-functional team. 
  • A passion for sustainability and socially responsible practices in production.
