Assistant Brand Manager (20 Month Fixed Term Contract)

Essity UK Consumer Goods is looking for an Assistant Brand Manager – Consumer Goods to work on our leading brands Bodyfrom and TENA. The Assistant Brand manager will take responsibility for the day-to-day marketing activation, ensuring delivery against agreed objectives and KPI’s to support ambitious brand growth.
This full-time, 20-month FTC position is offered on a hybrid working pattern of up to two days per week working flexibly at home with 3 days office-based.

What You Will Do
- Support the SBM in the implementation of ATL and BTL regional marketing strategy and plans in line with global requirements.
- Deliver clear communication and building strong working relationships with internal customer teams, global teams, agencies & retailers.
- Provide necessary support to our multi-functional operational business team regarding strategy, product information and media activities.
- Manage and implement marketing activities, ATL to BTL, with a special focus on digital communication and social media.
- Daily management of external agencies (media, PR, digital), including writing briefs, creative development, agency management and reporting, with continuous evaluation based on set KPIs.
Strong Focus On Digital Marketing:
- Daily management of social branded content and social content calendar.
- Ensure brand images and assets are optimised for use on retailer websites.
- Management of brand websites in conjunction with internal digital hub.
- Work with internal digital hub developing ratings and reviews.
- Work with internal DTC team to develop and manage annual social content calendars.
- Support SBM with project management of PR campaigns
- Responsible for assigned Advertising & Promotion budget, with monthly tracking & reconciling along with raising PO’s.
- Monthly analysis and reporting of market & consumer data and business performance against KPI’s.
- Management of product range development – new packaging, new pack formats, changes in legal requirements.
- Ownership of the artwork development process including supporting on copy, artwork generation and approvals

- Experience working within a marketing team preferably within FMCG
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and work effectively in a constantly changing environment
- Strong cross functional experience
- Demonstrated experience and success in project management
- Excellent oral and written communication, analytical, and presentation skills
- Excellent team player and ability to work cross-functionally
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to multi-task under pressure
- Confident in using Excel and PowerPoint
