We are currently seeking a Project Manager for PEO EU-Funded Traineeship Projects to join our Human Resources Team in Bucharest for 2,5 years.
Your Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to oversee and manage PEO EU-funded projects with a focus on high school and university apprenticeships. This role involves effective resource management, ensuring quality deliverables, internal monitoring and control, risk management, and representing the organization in key partnerships. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving project success and ensuring compliance with EU funding requirements. The role is available until December 2027. Depending on the business context at that time, the candidate may be offered a contract extension for other projects or roles.
Key Responsibilities
Resource Management:
- Oversee human, material, financial, and time resources to maximize efficiency.
- Organize the project team, including employment contracts, role assignments, and task distribution.
- Ensure optimal utilization of resources to achieve project objectives.
Quality Management & Results Orientation:
- Develop project management, coordination, and communication procedures.
- Create monitoring and reporting tools for progress tracking.
- Approve methodologies and working procedures to ensure quality outcomes.
- Lead and coordinate the reporting process to stakeholders and funders.
Internal Monitoring And Control:
- Ensure compliance with methodologies, monitoring procedures, and activity timelines.
- Propose corrective measures when deviations occur.
- Verify compliance with working procedures, including GDPR regulations.
- Oversee the accurate allocation and reporting of project expenses.
- Ensure timely submission of periodic and ad-hoc reports to funders.
Risk Management:
· Monitor and identify potential risks, analyzing and implementing mitigation measures.
· Subcontractor Monitoring And Control:
Ensure compliance with relevant legislative frameworks during procurement activities:
- Oversee the selection of subcontractors and monitor their activities.
- Coordinate resource procurement and acquisition processes.
Representation:
· Represent the organization’s interests in relations with partners and third parties.
What are we looking for?
· Bachelor`S Degree.
- Proven experience in managing EU-funded projects of minimum 5 years.
- Strong understanding of EU regulations and procurement processes.
- Deep knowledge of the MySMIS IT system.
- Experience in resource management, quality assurance, and risk management.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
