As a Groups & Events Sales Executive, you’ll be the first point of contact for group and event enquiries, combining your passion for sales with exceptional event planning skills. You’ll convert enquiries into bookings, build strong client relationships, and ensure every detail of each event is delivered flawlessly — all while representing the InterContinental brand with confidence, creativity, and true hospitality.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Manage incoming enquiries and convert them into confirmed business.
  • Coordinate events from contracting and BEO creation to final execution.
  • Conduct site inspections, client meetings, and pre-event briefings.
  • Work closely with operational teams to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records in Delphi and support revenue targets through upselling.
  • Monitor conversion rates and share market insights to drive growth.
  • 2+ years’ experience in events, sales, or front-of-house hospitality roles.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Exceptional organisation, attention to detail, and multitasking ability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Delphi, and Opera systems.
  • Flexible, proactive, and passionate about creating memorable guest experiences.
  • A qualification in Hotel or Event Management is advantageous.
