DNV is seeking New Building Surveyors based in Vietnam to join their Maritime Region Southeast Asia, Pacific & India team, working on various ship types. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering, at least three years of marine industry experience, strong customer service and technical knowledge, and be fluent in English. The role includes ensuring compliance with DNV standards, maintaining client confidentiality, supervising others, and supporting customers on-site. DNV is a global risk management and quality assurance company specializing in maritime and other industries, with offices in Vung Tau and Hai Phong, Vietnam.
Tasks May Include
- Ensure all work complies with DNV rules, regulations, guidelines, instructions, and quality standards.
- Maintain client confidentiality regarding business, processes, designs, developments, and documentation.
- Supervise others when required, ensuring efficient and compliant work.
- Promptly inform management of any information affecting DNV's reputation or integrity.
- Promote DNV on-site, provide technical support to customers.

- Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years' marine industry experience.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Technical knowledge of class and statutory surveyor duties.
- Team player with ability to work independently.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel as needed.
- Physical capability for job functions.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
