Weekend Janitor

Are you reliable, detail-oriented, and looking for meaningful weekend work? Oakmont Gardens is seeking a Janitor to help keep our community safe, welcoming, and spotless. This role is essential in supporting the comfort and well-being of our residents, guests, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Custodial Care: Sweep, mop, vacuum, scrub, and polish to maintain clean and inviting common areas.
• Trash & Recycling: Empty and sanitize containers, remove garbage to dumpsters, and ensure disposal areas are tidy.
• Cleaning & Sanitizing: Disinfect restrooms, high-touch surfaces, corridors, stairwells, and other shared spaces.
• Light Repairs: Handle minor maintenance tasks, such as plunging toilets and cleaning dryer lint traps.
• Safety & Exterior Care: Keep walkways, courtyards, and outdoor areas clear of debris and hazards.

What We’re Looking For

Experience: High school diploma or GED, with at least 1 year of custodial or cleaning experience preferred.

• Physical Ability: Comfortable with manual work, lifting, bending, and performing light repairs.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and ability to follow directions with basic English communication.
