Job Overview

We’re seeking an experienced Lead Generation Specialist to drive business growth by identifying and connecting with potential clients who need critical IT support and solutions. You’ll be the crucial first point of contact in building relationships that help businesses solve their technology challenges. Your research and outreach efforts will directly contribute to expanding the company’s presence in the competitive Australian market, particularly in the Sydney region. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of industries while developing expertise in B2B technology sales and relationship building.

Responsibilities
  • Research and identify high-potential prospects across the Australian market, with primary focus on the Sydney metropolitan area
  • Generate qualified sales leads for comprehensive IT services, including office solutions, networking, cybersecurity, and software implementations
  • Conduct strategic cold calling and initial outreach to decision-makers across manufacturing, medical, and service provider industries
  • Build and maintain comprehensive databases of potential customers and key contact information
  • Screen and qualify prospects to assess their technology needs and interest level
  • Forward warm, qualified prospects to the sales team with detailed background information
  • Provide comprehensive daily and weekly activity reports, including contacts made, lead quality assessments, and conversion metrics
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with prospects through strategic follow-up communications
  • Schedule qualified appointments between interested prospects and the sales team
  • Collaborate with the sales team to refine targeting strategies and improve lead quality


Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in lead generation, telesales, or appointment setting with demonstrable results
  • Strong track record of generating quality leads and consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Extensive experience with database building, prospect research, and lead qualification processes
  • Excellent cold calling skills with the ability to engage decision-makers and build rapport quickly
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, sales tools, and phone dialer platforms
  • Deep understanding of Australian business market dynamics and industry landscapes
  • Exceptional time management skills with the ability to work independently and maintain consistent productivity
  • Previous B2B sales environment experience strongly preferred
  • Strong communication skills with professional phone presence and email writing abilities
  • Results-oriented mindset with focus on quality lead generation and conversion optimization
