WSP is providing Project Management Services (PMS) for one of Riyadh’s most iconic public realm and infrastructure programs. The development includes large landscaped areas, utility networks, mobility corridors, public facilities, and support infrastructure — designed to promote sustainability, connectivity, and quality of urban life.
The Construction Manager will oversee and manage all site construction activities, ensuring that works are executed in line with approved drawings, specifications, safety standards, and schedule requirements. The role involves coordination between contractors, consultants, and the client team to ensure the successful delivery of assigned project packages.
- Manage day-to-day construction operations and ensure alignment with project objectives, quality, and safety standards.
- Supervise and monitor contractors’ performance, progress, and compliance with contract requirements.
- Review and validate contractors’ work programs, method statements, and construction sequences.
- Coordinate with design, quality, safety, and commercial teams to resolve technical and operational challenges.
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings, preparing detailed reports for senior management and the client.
- Ensure that project milestones and deliverables are achieved as per schedule.
- Identify potential risks, delays, and cost implications and implement mitigation plans.
- Liaise closely with the client and relevant stakeholders to maintain smooth communication and approvals.
- Enforce compliance with HSE policies, project specifications, and applicable codes.
- Provide leadership and guidance to site engineers, inspectors, and discipline teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 15 years of construction experience, with at least 5 years in a Construction Manager role on major infrastructure or public realm projects.
- Proven background working on large, complex, multi-package developments under a PMC or consultancy environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of civil, structural, and infrastructure works.
- Excellent leadership, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with international standards, project controls, and HSE requirements.
- Proficiency in project management tools and reporting systems.
- Professional membership (e.g., PMP, ICE, or equivalent) is advantageous.
