Position Summary:

This individual will work on generating new business through a variety of web-based, marketing, and pro-active selling tools. The Inside Sales Representative, is also responsible for being a primary contact for Korea customers and execution of the sales-order process. This includes customer support, managing communications/transactions, and striving to meet the needs of assigned customers in Korea. Account needs/requests must be addressed by working closely with sales, also including customer visit solely and/or together with sales, product management, supply-chain and financial team of Momentive Technologies, as needed for problem resolution.

Tasks/Responsibilities

  • Being a primary contact for customers and execution of the sales-order process. This includes customer support, managing communications /transactions, and striving to meet the needs of assigned customers.
  • Needs/requests of customers must be addressed by working closely with the sales, product management, supply-chain and financial team of the company, as needed for problem resolution.
  • Grow sales via our network of distributors to support our business strategy by applying key leverage points.
  • Become familiar with markets served and make connections with key contacts to build market intelligence.
  • Address and answer inquiries for assigned area/customers on topics such as product selection, pricing, availability and lead times.
  • Responsible for order management:1. Receive and handle request for Quotations2. New material Set Up ( NPI)3. Initiate Price Requests4. Order Entry5. Order confirmation/ acknowledgment6. Order modification7. Inventory allocation8. Logistics follow up9. Order Status Inquiry10. Claims identification, entry and follow up11. Returns management12. Credit/Debit Note management13. Regular/irregular communication with distributor (Ceramic)
  • Generate weekly open orders/recent shipment reports.
  • Be flexible to use and upload requested information to customers’ system on regular base
  • Primary contact for customers. Respond to customers’ inquiries (order status, inventory, shipping, pricing, lead-time, etc.) within one business day.
  • Support finance team with Account Receivable activities (reconciliation, credits, unpaid invoices, etc.) and work with team to release credit holds in advance of upcoming shipments once customers provide evidence of payment.
  • Ability to empathize with customers, establish relationship and work to best meet their needs. Embrace being the "Voice of the Customer"
  • Commercially savvy. Problem solving abilities to identify issues, find solutions.
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills and ability to work with and communicate to all levels of the organization.
  • Manage end to end sales process for each customer from order receipt to delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of Material related such as ceramics, quartz, crucibles, or similar materials
  • Working experience in semiconductor industry is plus
  • Experience as an order processing and customer support role.
  • Over 2 years of SAP or ERP based sales and distribution experience.
  • 5 years of customer support [facing] or similar experience
  • Experience in service related role welcome
  • Demonstrated successful track record of work performance.
  • Understanding of international sales process
  • Basic knowledge of international trade process: import and export
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Power Point)
  • Korean native language
  • Business English speaking (at least intermediate level) is a must
  • Business Japanese speaking/email is plus
  • Ability to multi-task. Strong organizational skills.
  • Over 2 years of SAP or ERP based sales and distribution experience.
  • +5 years of customer support [facing] or similar experience
  • Experience in service related role welcome
  • Demonstrated successful track record of work performance.
  • Key Metrics Role is Accountable for: AOP, response time, and accuracy
  • Key relationships: Customers‘ purchasing team, supply chain, sales team, product management, finance/AR & distributors
