As Director, Technical Program Management, Security & Risk, you will lead a strategic transformation program that enables Marketing teams to innovate safely and with agility, building and operating secure-by-design and secure-by-default services at scale. Responsibilities

  • Secure Innovation: Champion Marketing’s position as the company’s leader in Secure practices, driving speed, agility, and trust across every business and technical domain. Your work will enable Marketing teams to innovate boldly, knowing that security and compliance are seamlessly woven into every service, dataset, and customer experience
  • Strategic Transformation: Lead the transformation of Marketing’s security and risk management practices, championing a culture of accountability, clarity, and business leadership. Accelerate the evolution from reactive compliance to proactive, durable controls, enabling Marketing to remain the company’s showcase for Secure Future Initiative practices, speed, and agility
  • People Management: Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing team of Technical Program Managers (TPMs) and Engineers, fostering a culture of empowerment, innovation, and customer focus. Model, coach, and care to deliver success through accountability and clarity
  • Business Leadership: Serve as the bridge between business teams and security engineering, deeply understanding business strategy and needs, and translating them into technical requirements and security controls. Partner with Marketing senior leadership, Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), Privacy, Audit, and Responsible AI teams to align on shared goals and amplify impact.
  • Operational Agility: Reduce toil and overhead across teams by creating clarity around policy, best practices for managing infrastructure and data, and simplifying compliance. Drive automation and centralized capabilities to close cross-team security gaps, streamline incident response, and scale best practices across all of Marketing.
  • Data Protection: Lead the implementation of robust data protection controls across a multi-petabyte distributed ecosystem, ensuring consistent classification, tagging, and access management across Marketing’s data estate. Collaborate with Marketing Data Engineering and Product teams to protect our data while unlocking the data agility required to realize the Frontier Marketing vision.
  • Clarity and Simplicity: Lead the charge to reduce complexity and overhead for every team. By creating clarity around policy, best practices, and security requirements, you’ll make compliance understandable and actionable, freeing teams to move faster and with confidence.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years people management experience.
  • 3+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • 6+ years of experience in technical program management, cybersecurity, or risk management
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP)) and modern data architectures

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 12+ years experience engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years people management experience.
  • 8+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • 1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
  • Experience with global security and privacy regulations
  • Experience working with legal, privacy, audit, and compliance teams
  • Experience translating business needs into technical solutions and security controls
  •  Industry certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or similar.
  •  Experience in threat modeling, vulnerability management, and incident response

Technical Program Management M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $139,900 - $274,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.
