Responsibilities
- Design, Build andmaintainagentic workflow automation, monitoring systems and processes for Data Platform operations, infrastructure, pipelines, usage, and access patterns.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of infrastructure strategies for marketing data focused on cost optimization and scalability.
- Create and deploy frameworks and tools for data quality measurement andmonitoringto deliver secure, sustainable, high-performing, and reliable marketing data for consumer needs.
- Design and implement data storage solutions in line with medallion architecture and automated role-based access controls.
- Promote engineeringcompetentthrough coding standards, and robust code management tooling.
- Collaborate with Data Product Engineering, Data Ops, and Partner Engineering teams to deliver end-to-end platform solutions.
- Work with Fabric, Purview, and Azure ML teams to address feature gaps and support product roadmaps.
- Support shared tools for cross-tenant Azure data intake and publishing.
- Implement capabilities for data classification, tagging, retention, archival, and deletion to meet privacy policy requirements.
- Identifyand prioritize platform improvements using incident and feedback data.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- OR equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of software development lifecycle experience, working with big data platforms and azure data stack (one or more of Synapse, ADB, ADF, Cosmos, Data Explorer, Fabric) doing planning, solution feasibility, design, development, code reviews.
- OR equivalent experience.
Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- OR equivalent experience.
- Experience implementing Figma-based designs, ensuring pixel-perfect execution and fidelity to design intent.
- Experience building or contributing to enterprise design systems or component libraries.
- Familiarity with commerce platforms, payment integrations, or transactional workflows.
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- OR equivalent experience.
Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
