Cloud Solution Architecture - Cloud & AI Apps

As a Cloud Solution Architect (IC3) for Cloud & AI Apps, you will support customers in designing and deploying AI-powered applications on Azure. In this customer-facing role, you will participate in technical engagements across design, build, and operations, helping to remove blockers and accelerate adoption of Azure AI services, the Azure application platform, GitHub/Copilot, and modern data stores.

You will work under the guidance of senior architects to deliver secure, reliable, and cost-optimized solutions, collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to define outcomes, architect solutions, and guide projects into production. The role emphasizes hands-on technical delivery, continuous learning, and customer satisfaction, leveraging Unified delivery and Factory engagement models to scale impact.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of production milestones across assigned accounts, assisting with production readiness, reliability, resiliency, security, and optimization of mission-critical workloads.
• Contribute to technical design sessions and hands-on delivery for AI application scenarios (Azure OpenAI / Azure AI Foundry, GitHub/Copilot, AKS, App Services, serverless, managed databases).
• Help remove technical blockers, apply best practices, and engage engineering as needed to accelerate service adoption.
• Apply repeatable IP and delivery best practices; contribute to reusable assets, communities, and field guidance.
• Collaborate with CSAMs, Specialists, Engineering, and Partner teams to align on outcomes, landing plans, risks, and next best actions.
• Maintain technical intensity through continuous skilling, certifications, and hands-on labs aligned to Cloud & AI Apps priorities.
• Seek mentorship and learning opportunities to develop expertise in cloud and AI technologies.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years’ experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, software development/support, or related fields.
• Hands-on experience with Azure AI services, GitHub/Copilot, and Azure app platform services.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Growth mindset and willingness to learn.
• Certifications: AI-102, AZ-204, AZ-400, AZ-305.

Preferred:

• Exposure to AKS, Cosmos DB, event-driven patterns, and GitHub Advanced Security.
• Familiarity with MCEM stages and Unified execution patterns.
• Contribution to communities and reusable IP.
